HEY KID, THE NEW FRESH AND INTIMATE INDIE-POP.
Hey Kid, (Santi Vancells, Barcelona) is a Spanish musician, composer and singer-songwriter. He currently lives between Barcelona and Madrid and started his solo career at the end of 2021. That same year, Santi released “qué tal te va?” his first single in Spanish, venturing into an indie-pop rhythm, very intimate and honest.
In his first concert in Barcelona on 9 March 2023, at Sala Laut, he managed to sell out 230 people three weeks before the concert date. A week later, he played his first concert in Madrid at the Sala Galileo Galilei, and months later, he sold out another 800 people at the Sala Bikini in Barcelona. It was then when he decided to start his first Tour “Qué tal te va?” in cities like Bilbao, Santander, Valencia, Camprodon, Comillas, Coruña and some other cities.
Nowadays we have seen him in “Jardín de las Delicias” Barcelona, sharing the bill with Leo Rizzi, 84 and Alex Wall, and in other stages like Momentos Alhambra, with artists like Antonio Carmona and Inazio from Pamplona. This September Hey Kid also performed in front of more than 3000 people at the festival “El Jardín de las Delicias” Madrid. With only more than a year of project, Santi already has millions of plays on Spotify and more than 1.200.000 monthly listeners. For 2024, he has already agreed to play at festivals all over Spain.
